Description

Help us set ‘evaluation criteria’ for Phase Two of the Path to Excellence programme

We are inviting partners and stakeholders involved in health and care to get involved in setting evaluation criteria which will ultimately be used to assess emerging ideas and help the NHS determine the most credible scenarios for formal public consultation expected in summer 2019.

Developing evaluation criteria is a key opportunity to involve a range of different stakeholder perspectives where the local NHS can ask what matters to stakeholders and use that information to inform the inform the assessment process for any potential future models of care.

At the events we will ask you to review draft evaluation criteria which have been informed by the draft case for change document together with insights gained from staff, patient and stakeholder engagement to date.

PLEASE NOTE - The emerging ideas for change will not be shared until early in 2019 when a further round of staff engagement workshops and stakeholder events will take place to help the NHS determine which emerging ideas are the most credible scenarios for formal public consultation which is expected in summer 2019.

We would be very grateful if your organisations or interest could be represented at one of the events which are taking place.

Registration from 9am and workshop will start promptly at 9.30am.

Working together for clinical excellence

The Path to Excellence is five-year healthcare transformation programme across South Tyneside and Sunderland which has been set up to secure the future of local NHS services and to identify new and innovative ways of delivering high quality, joined-up, sustainable care that will benefit the population both now and in the future.

The aim of Phase Two of the Path to Excellence programme is to build on the strengths and successes of the two local hospital Trusts whilst helping us to plan and prepare for the tidal wave of pressures we know are facing the NHS.
