Other Information

These are adult-only workshops. We appreciate that lack of childcare can be a barrier, and will endeavour to run virtual versions of the workshops in due course. However, we do encourage you to try and come along in person if that is at all manageable given the benefit of peer support and interaction.

Lizzie and the STAND team will provide you with information and materials to take away with you. The aim is for you to feel empowered and armed to challenge decisions or practices with which you do not agree.

Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided, and members of the STAND Management Team will also attend to offer extra support.

The workshop tickets are a nominal fee of £5 which contributes to the running costs of STAND, however please email us if you would like to attend but have difficulty with finances and we can waive that fee if it would be a barrier to your attendance. Alternatively, there is the option to add an extra donation if you feel in a position to do so.
