Garrett Millerick at the Attic, Southampton
Garrett Millerick, an acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, and director, is highly sought after on both alternative and club circuits in the UK and internationally. His unique and versatile style recently made its television debut on the hit US late-night talk show Conan (TBS).
In 2018, Garrett gained widespread recognition with his breakout live show, Sunflower, which became one of the best-reviewed and most talked-about shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Soho Theatre. The success of Sunflower led to packed houses, additional shows, and a nomination for ‘Breakthrough Act’ at the 2019 Chortle Awards. Time Out London named it their No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and Garrett recorded it as an album, available internationally from 800 Pound Gorilla Records.
Beyond stand-up, Garrett is involved in the sitcom Do Gooders, which recently recorded a pilot for Audible. Produced by Hat Trick Productions and starring Jack Dee and Meera Syal, the sitcom is currently in development for television. Garrett Millerick continues to make waves in the comedy scene with his exceptional talent and success across various platforms.
Headliner 2 Comedy legend Phil Nicol
Phil Nichol was recently seen playing a pagan pub landlord, Drew in Agatha Raisin. He was seen previously as Mark in Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney's hit Channel 4 sitcom Catastrophe and as Jerry in the award-winning BBC3 show Uncle. He has also appeared in Siblings, played Terry Gilliam in BBC4's BAFTA nominated Holy Flying Circus and starred as gay Priest, Drew, in the Greg Davies sitcom Man Down.
Phil has won numerous performance awards including the 2005 Stage Award for Acting Excellence (The Zoo Story), the 2006 Edinburgh Comedy Award (The Naked Racist) and a Scotsman Fringe First for the monologue Somewhere Beneath It All, A Small Fire Burns Still (2011).
Phil was in the original West End cast for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie playing aging drag queen, Loco Chanelle. He has starred alongside Christian Slater in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Boy George in Taboo and Bill Bailey in the fringe hit Twelve Angry Men, which also toured the International Festivals. Trained as an actor at the School of Dramatic Art in Winsdor, Ontario, Phil is also a screen writer, musician with three comedy albums and a full music album. He is the lead singer/songwriter for parody RAWK band, Muscle.
Presently, Phil is appearing in Atlantic City as Dick Marlin, the Host of a brand new circus/cabaret show entitled The Hook produced by Spiegelworld of Absinthe, Las Vegas fame.
