Event description

Description

Osborne Cawkwell invites YOU to an evening of fun and frolics at Sylvia Young Studios (the place where they rehearse for Strictly Come Dancing!) on Tuesday 27th February, 6.30 to 8.30pm, to help raise awareness of mental health problems in young people.

If any of you have kids or know anyone with kids Year 6 and older, do encourage them to come along! We want as much of the audience to be young as the content, both about mental health and the acts, will be targeted towards them.

We've got a cracking line-up of comedy, music, magic, and everything in between, including performances from stand up extraordinaire Carl Donnelly (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News), the high energy hilarity of Naz Osmanoglu (Live at the Electric, Russell Howard’s Good News and Horrible Histories) and sketch wizards The Awkward Silence (Shortlisted for BBC Writer’s prize. “One of this years best sketch comedy shows” - The New Current). We’ve even got a short talk from diet guru Rachel Kelly, (Mental health campaigner and author of The Happy Kitchen).

ALL this, for the price of FREE!! Yes, you read that correctly. FREE!! We will however, be taking donations via our page on JustGiving https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/osbornecawkwell as well as on the evening. All proceeds will be going to Prince William’s fantastic mental health charity, Heads Together, to help support their latest project, Mentally Healthy Schools.

It’s going to be a GREAT night! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
