Join us for Stand Up to Suicide, a unique comedy night dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health through laughter. Hosted by Suicide Sucks CIC, this event is part of Penistone Arts Week and aims to bring our community together for a cause that matters.

Expect a night of hilarious performances from top-notch comedians who are ready to tickle your funny bone, all while supporting a vital cause. Comedy has the power to heal, connect, and spark important conversations—and that’s exactly what this night is all about. There will also be 2 guest speakers from the podcast Suicide Sucks.

Proceeds from the event will go towards funding mental health initiatives and suicide prevention programs run by Suicide Sucks CIC. Together, we can prove that life is worth living—and that laughter truly is the best medicine.

This event is suitable for ages 16 and up due to mature content. The event is in a barn so please dress appropriately.

Limited parking available on site on the farm car park and in the field opposite. There is also parking in the village behind the petrol station. Stand Up to Suicide aims to raise awareness and spark important conversations about mental health and suicide prevention through comedy. However, please be aware that some topics discussed during the event may include sensitive or triggering material related to mental health struggles, suicide, and personal experiences.
