Stanislavski's Three Circles of Focus
Event Information
About this Event
Constantine Stanislavski was a Russian theatre director who’s system is the foundation of modern method acting techniques used religiously by actors such as Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.
This workshop will explore one of his core acting techniques - the three circles of focus, while also working through some other aspects of his acting philosophy, such as Emotional Memory and the magic 'if'. We may also contrast these techniques to the philosophy of other practitioners, such as Artaud and Grotowski.
Suitable for drama students aged 16+, teachers, public speakers, presenters, and anyone who speaks in public.
