Description

Register for the Star Refrigeration Roadshow 2017

Star Refrigeration is hosting a roadshow at locations across the UK throughout October to provide owners, operators, consultants and other industry stakeholders free advice on the changing regulations and technological advances affecting businesses using refrigeration and heating equipment.

Considering the pace at which the industry’s regulatory and environmental landscape is changing, this an unmissable opportunity to keep up to date and talk to the experts about the issues that are important to you.

Senior management members of Star refrigeration will be delivering free CPD sessions in Sheffield, Bristol, London and Glasgow, as part of the tour.

The 2017 Roadshow kicks off on 17th October in Sheffield at the Magna Science Centre, then travels to Bristol at the Aerospace Museum on 18th October. The Star team will then deliver seminars in London at the Canada Water Culture Space on 19th October before completing the tour in the Glasgow Science Centre on 25th October.

Each event will start at 8.30 am with breakfast followed by five CPD presentations and Q&A sessions. The seminars will aim to finish by 11am and there will then be an hour for customers to arrange meetings with members of the Star team for further discussion.

The seminars are being shaped by those who will be attending. These are the most recurring topics registered attendees are putting forward for discussion:

  1. Legal compliance: ammonia safety, DSEAR, PM81, EN378 regulations affecting cooling and heating users
  2. F-gas phase down: timelines, replacement options, R404 & R507 phase out, natural refrigerants, low charge ammonia, HFOs & A2L refrigerants
  3. Heat recovery: waste heat from process cooling, waste heat from renewable sources, re-utilisation of waste heat and waste cooling for district networks
  4. Energy efficiency: energy savings, energy monitoring, CO2 reduction, CRC, latest technology available
  5. Plant reliability: maintenance, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, condition based maintenance, vibration monitoring

Please add any other topics you would like to see covered in the space provided when registering.

The event is free to attend, but you must register your interest to book a place.
