Our popular image of the two world wars is arguably defined by the films made in their aftermath. Yet many of the stars of those films – along with many other familiar faces from stage, small screen and radio – had experienced those wars first-hand. Come and learn about some the amazing and oft-forgotten wartime exploits of these “Stars in Battledress”.
Jeremy Konsbruck
Jeremy is an independent researcher from Cardiff. He has a lifelong passion for military history and holds an MA in the subject. In addition to Stars in Battledress, Jeremy is working on projects relating to the Cardiff experience of the wars, military tribunals and conscientious objection, and researching your military ancestors.
