In partnership with local employers, The Prince's Trust are offering a FREE online employment training course, aimed at helping you start a career within Health & Social Care and to become a successful applicant.

During the 1 week course you will get the opportunity to discover more about the wide range of roles available, learn from industry experts, and receive training and interview support to help you in your application.

You will also have the opportunity to interview with employers that are hiring for the roles you're interested in right now!

WHO IS THIS FOR? People aged 18-30 who are motivated and ready to work!

WHEN IS IT?: 9th May - 13th May, 9:30am - 4:30am Mon- Fri

WHERE IS IT?: This course will be delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams.

During the week you can expect:

Comprehensive employability training and an introduction to social care. Learn about the wide variety of roles in the social care sector and how to progress your career. They will also receive tailored support with each step of the application and interview process.

• An introduction to working in social care setting
• Learn the theory behind the Care Certificate, looking at the Standards of Care
• Tailored application support
• Mock practice interview support

• You MUST be able to attend the full week of this programme (Mon-Fri 9:30am - 4:30pm)
• The employer may want to hold a second interview before deciding whether to offer you a role.
