Event description

Description

If you're a first-time entrepreneur or freelancer, in the creative or digital sectors with an interest in setting up a business, you will probably need to do quite a lot of research and planning before you’re able turn your idea into something more concrete. Coming along to our series of six Start Up Bootcamps helps you to develop a strong business proposition, and equip you with the necessary tools to turn your ideas into a reality.

Their purpose is to give you a heads up on how to write a business plan and to take a hard look at your financial needs and prospects. It’s also a chance to evaluate your idea and develop answers to the tough questions anyone would ask before turning your concept into a viable business model.

The Bootcamps are taking place over 6 evening sessions with each session covering a different subject and you will need to book for each one separately.

The topics covered will include the following:

  • Understanding your business
  • Your Customer and Marketing
  • Generating Sales
  • Operations and Infrastructure
  • Money and Action Planning
  • Selling, pitching and presenting.
