About this event
Where does Recruitment begin ?
Most companies believe that recruitment starts at advertising. It actually starts way before this point.
It starts when you identify you have a need for support and require an extra pair of hands.
Many companies do not consider business culture, personality, company fit and tend to recruit in a reactive manner and then find their new employee is not what they hoped for or how they sold themselves to you.
Whilst there are legal implications to recruitment that actually come into play at advertising stage, companies must also consider the right fit for their company as the wrong employee could result in lost business and your bottom line profit.
This session will take you through the identification of a vacancy to writing an ideal advert to the offer and induction stage. The session will cover any watch outs, pitfalls and wins.
The session will be facilitated by Suzanne Cullen MCIPD – Managing Director and Principal Consultant at Evolved HR.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. All our Start-Up Enterprise Clubs are designed to allow you to implement learning undertaken immediately. Sessions are free to attend, facilitated by a local business expert and are delivered online. You will have an opportunity to meet other start-ups embarking on the same journey.
Once booked, you will be sent an email invite with joining instructions shortly prior to the workshop date. The session will be delivered using Microsoft Teams, this can either be accessed using the dedicated desktop/mobile app or directly through your web browser.
