Description

This session will be run by Princes Trust and aims to provide information and tips on marketing and sales research and break down any concerns around your ideas, products or services. They will look at questions as well as offer some tips for marketing sales.

Their specialist staff will discuss :

  • How you define and research your market?

  • How you define a marketing strategy?

  • What are the benefits of traditional and digital marketing methods?

  • What is the importance of branding?

This event is suitable for anyone aged over 18 who is exploring setting up a business or intending to start trading.



Our Speakers

Princes Trust work with 18 to 30-year-olds to turn big ideas into a business reality through their Enterprise programme. They offer a four day interactive Enterprise course, up to three years mentoring, and access to funding. From training and mentoring support to funding and resources, they're with you every step of the way.



STEAMhouse is a new centre for creative innovation based in the centre of Birmingham. Based on Digbeth High Street it houses 15,000 sq feet of space with a range of spaces including co-working, project spaces and the Production Space – a substantial, new makerspace with equipment and technicians to support sole traders and local businesses to prototype and develop in a range of materials. We also offer a range of business support programmes.

Steamhouse has been created through a partnership between Birmingham City University and Eastside Projects, and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Arts Council England.
