This booking is for a pre-registration appointment – a short, friendly discussion to help us understand your business goals and check your eligibility for the full programme. Attending this appointment is essential to secure your place.

About the Programme

Our start-up and Grow programme is a practical, three-day workshop series designed to help you move your business idea forward with confidence. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow, you’ll gain expert-led guidance, tools, and support tailored to early-stage entrepreneurs.

As this is a funded programme, there may be additional paperwork to complete. If you would like to learn more about the programme, you can book in for a chat by emailing bipcleeds@leeds.gov.uk

Topics include:

• Business Planning and Strategy

• Marketing and sales

• Financial management, including tax, bookkeeping, and cash flow

• Sources of finance

You’ll also be introduced to the wider support available through the Business & IP Centre (BIPC), including follow-on workshops, one-to-one information and guidance sessions, and access to specialist resources at the BIPC hub.

• Days One & Two: Friday 9th January and Saturday 10th January

• Day Three: Friday 16th January

• Location: Business & IP Centre, Leeds Central Library

This workshop is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. As such, strict eligibility criteria apply:

• Please confirm that you live within the Leeds City Council area, or run a business located in the Leeds City Council area.

• This opportunity is only open to individuals who have not previously attended the two-day Start-up and Grow programme

• We kindly ask that you do not book if you do not meet these criteria, as places are limited and reserved for eligible participants only. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
