Join us for an afternoon of in conversation with style interviews. Henley Business School students will be interviewing start-ups and scale-ups to learn more about their journeys to date.

Speakers include Roy Azoulay - founder and CEO of Serelay, Ashley Cavers - Wonky Food Company and Sarah Jordan - Y.O.U Underwear.

Roy Azoulay, is founder and CEO of Serelay – a UK based startup tackling fakes photos and videos at scale. Serelay’s work has been supported and funded by Google (DNI), The European Space Agency and Innovate UK and covered by MIT Tech Review, Forbes and WSJ. Prior to Serelay Roy worked for with Oxford University researchers on research commercialisation and was responsible for initiating and setting up the university’s startup incubator.

Ashley Cavers is the co-founder of The Wonky Food Company, a business that was started in response to the growing problem of food waste.

They makes relishes from imperfect and surplus fruit and veg and its products are now available to buy through Ocado and The Co-op as well as a rapidly growing network of independent retailers. Ashley recently reached the semi-finals for the national Female Startup of the Year award. Alongside Wonky, Ashley has a background in journalism and worked for the BBC, Sky and The Sunday Times Fast Track before becoming an entrepreneur.

Frankie Cotton is an entrepreneur and management consultant specialising in brand, culture, growth marketing and business development. Her experience includes working with startups through to international £100MIL+ revenue companies spanning technology, professional services, media, fintech and e-commerce in both B2B and B2C.

An entrepreneur at heart, Frankie’s founded numerous companies including Let’s Be Frank, The Sustainable Marketplace, Found & Flourish, The Badass System and P.E. for Grown-Ups. Next on the agenda is to launch an impact incubator in 2020.

Frankie is also the creator and host of feminist business podcast Women On Top (@thewotpod), a series of intimate interviews with women on a mission.

Vivi Friedgut is Founder & CEO, author, speaker of Blackbullion. She is on a mission to empower young people by helping them build financial capability, open up the conversation around money and cultivate a healthy, money smart mindset. Finding nobody wanted to support her fighter pilot ambitions, Vivi pursued a career in financial management. Vivi spent almost a decade managing the wealth of high net worth families and individuals. This inspired her mission of making financial education accessible for all. Parking the idea of a bakery bookshop, Vivi launched, Blackbullion, the leading finance solution, underpinned by education. A speaker and author, Vivi’s is a champion of changing the conversation around female entrepreneurship, looking at how we reframe workplace culture and behaviours to create a more diverse and flexible environment.

Sarah Jordan is the Founder and CEO of Y.O.U Underwear. Her background was in digital and tech. However, Sarah’s career changed tack completely in 2016, when volunteering as part of a trip to Uganda led Sarah to discover the problems faced by women and children who didn’t have access to underwear. She returned determined to do something about it, this soon led to the creation of Y.O.U underwear. Fast forward to 2019 and Y.O.U is now a small but global business, having completed a successful Kickstarter campaign, shipping their initial range to 15+ countries around the world, and seeing over 200% year-on-year growth. Sarah was named in the Thames Valley 50 Game Changers of 2018 list, won the best Fashion brand at the 2019 Be The Change Awards!
