John is an author, TV entertainment format creator, educationalist and founder of Masterclass Cambridge. Having worked in the television industry in the UK and around the world John realised that the UK Entertainment TV industry was a power-house of business and creative talent responsible for creating and exporting iconic global brands. By founding Masterlass Cambridge he realised that he would be able to bring the leading practitioners from all sectors of the TV industry from creation, production, business development, sales, marketing and exporting to inspire and share their work and challenges for the benefit of other business sectors.

Alan Boyd, Moderator
Alan became President of Worldwide Entertainment, Fremantle Media Production with overall responsibility for leading Fremantle Media’s drive to create, acquire and produce entertainment programmes with international potential. In this role he signed up and oversaw the roll out of Pop Idol and X-Factor in the UK and all entertainment output in other territories around the world.
Jamie Sherman, Business Advisor
Jamie is a partner at Kingston Smith LLP and has been acting as a business advisor for over ten years. Jamie has amassed significant experience in advising entrepreneurial businesses across a variety of sectors with a particular focus on start-ups and technology based businesses.
