Description

Have you signed up or want to find out more about Start-ups in London Libraries (SiLL) workshop in Newham? Attend a registration meeting to secure your spot!

Programme Overview

Newham Council have partnered with the British Library to bring to you Start-ups in London Libraries (SiLL), a programme providing free business support to entrepreneurs from all walks of life! Through SiLL, you can:

  • Research and test your business idea - is it viable?
  • Research and test your market - how can you adapt your business?
  • Come to expert-run workshops, learn how to start or grow a business
  • Gain one-on-one advisory support until you're up and running, and for any challenges that arise after the launch of your start-up
  • Become part of London's thriving entrepreneurial community.

Programme Eligibility

SiLL is available to persons aged 16+ who are living in London. Out of this group, only two types of entrepreneurs are eligible to join, which are:

  1. Anyone who has an idea that they want to turn into a business; or
  2. Anyone who has a current business that has been registered with Companies House or HMRC for LESS THAN 12 months.

To get involved in the SiLL program, you should sign up for a two-day workshop here .

Registration Meeting

Once you have reserved a spot in a SiLL workshop, you can attend one of these sessions to fill out registration paperwork, to meet your local Start-up Champion / Business Support Specialist, and possibly to network with a few other entrepreneurs.
