Week 2 – 1 Day Business Plan – Friday 21st Oct
“He who fails to plan is planning to fail!” – Sir Winston Churchill
It’s time to focus in on the Business Plan, the all-important ‘road map’ for your business. Of course, if you are looking to raise money through loans, investment or grants then you’ll need a business plan. If not, it’s simple: businesses with a clear, well thought out Business Plan survive and grow better than those without.
In this interactive full-day session, you’ll learn the component parts of the Business Plan, how to ask yourself the right questions, the importance of comprehensive market research, how to calculate your start-up costs and how to develop realistic financial projections.
Week 3 – 1 Day Workshop – Friday 28th Oct
You’ll have worked on your plan, with support from your trainer by phone and email when you need it. In this session, we’ll tell you how to use your Business Plan to raise finance to get your business up and running; including how to access NBV’s low-cost loans and exclusive grants. Fancy yourself on Dragons Den? You can pitch to the rest of the group and get their feedback if you’d like!
We will also talk about the additional support that NBV can provide once you are up and running including business advice, business workshops, networking, office facilities and much more.
Upon completion of the 4 days, you’ll get a certificate and, more importantly, you’ll have everything you need to get your business up and running!
