Bio of Deliverer:

Ian Boden, MBA

31 years working within the food and drink sector. Having worked for some of the finest hotels and restaurants within the UK and abroad, I moved to more commercial positions within the contract catering world and the UK high street, before starting my own consulting business over a decade ago.

During the past 12+ years, my clients have varied and covered the retail (FMCG), food service and Food to Go sectors. My clients have included.

  • The world’s largest exporter of lamb
  • The UK’s largest pub company
  • Multi-site operators on the UK high street
  • Multi-site operators within the UK and Europe’s holiday operators
  • Suppliers to the ‘big 3’ supermarkets within the UK market
  • First to market manufacturers
  • Middle Eastern operators

My team and I have helped clients enter and gain a foothold within the UK’s food and drink sectors, including £0 to £15,000,000 in sales within 2.5 years of entering the UK market for Alliance New Zealand, for example.

Over this period, I have employed more than 50 employees, and operated 3 separate sites, licensed, development and production.

Obtaining my master’s in business administration (MBA) has reinforced the knowledge and experience that I have gained over the past 3 decades. Qualified to advise at board level and an expert in leadership and operations.
