Starting with Fragments led by Ennis Welbourne

Overview

A 1.5hr guided writing session reflecting on fragmented creative ideas.

How might we validate new ideas when they seem fragmented? When they don’t form a clear narrative shape, split our focus into multiple projects, and express themselves in different creative forms?

What to expect?

This session is an invitation to take part in three guided writing exercises exploring the often fragmented nature of new ideas. Ennis will be sharing some personal examples from their creative journey, then provide prompt questions to inspire reflective writing on our own creative experiences. We will then have an opportunity to reflect as a group on the session material and share our thoughts.

There are 20 minutes allocated to each of the three exercises. Each exercise will contain time for Ennis to share their personal example, the prompt question, and for our private writing time.

After this first hour, we will have a 10 minute break, then return for 20 minutes of discussion time.

An assortment of stationary will be provided.

Suitable for all skill levels.
