About this event

Community • Heritage

In this general introductory session to using The London Archives, you'll tour the Information Area to find out about the on-site research facilities and a range of digital resources too.

Discover the types of records that we hold in our vast collections (over 100km of shelving and spanning from 1067 to the present day) and how to access them efficiently yourself.

Whether you are new to exporing archival materials or looking for a refresher on using our collections for your own research, this session is for you!

We run two Starting Your Research sessions each month, at different timeslots:

  • 11-11.45am on 1 July, 5 August, 2 September 2025.
  • 2.30-3.15pm on 23 July, 27 August, 24 September 2025.

Please note: spaces are limited - and Eventbrite will only show sessions that still have tickets available.

If you're looking to start researching your Family History, why not join one of our Focus on Family History sessions?
