Startup Hack: The first step to Dragons' Den 2020

Do you want to make it in to Future Worlds Dragons' Den 2020?

This workshop will give you the tools you need to develop a startup idea and accelerate towards launch.

So, join Future Worlds experts on Thursday 30th May to get on the inside track towards next year's Den.

Maybe you already have an idea, or perhaps you're still searching, either way, as long as you have the desire to explore what might be possible then come along.

This interactive session will teach you crucial steps that will help you progress your idea quickly and maximise your chances of success.

Learn about:

- Developing and researching a startup idea,
- How to identify, test and validate your assumptions,
- Basic startup principles,
- What you should build first,
- What investors are looking for,
- What support is available to help you get started.

You will also hear some real life stories of how previous students have managed to secure that all important investment from the Dragons.

Over £550,000 has been pledged on stage in the Den to date, so it's an incredible opportunity to walk away with a life-changing investment this time next year. We want to find and support the students who could be the stars in 2020.

Please note, this event is for undergraduate and postgraduate students/researchers at the University of Southampton.
