Sharmadean Reid - Creative Consultant, founder of WAH Nails and a full time mother
WAH life started in 2005 as a fanzine, promoting underrepresented women in hip-hop and street wear, and gave voice to a new wave of feminism. Following the opening of the salon in 2009, Sharmadean was named as one of “15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain” and featured in Vogue’s “New Generation”. Since, she has secured the Topshop flagship store, painted nails all over the world (NYC, Hong Kong, Moscow, Shanghai, Paris, Berlin to mention a few…) and published two books.
Sharmadean continues to innovate the creative market, with feminist values always at the core of her motivation.
Tim Stillwell - Founder of The Burrito Kitchen
Tim is an ambitious, hardworking, gregarious entrepreneurial graduate, who has founded his own company. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2011 with a First Class Honours degree in International Business.
In his final year of university he set up ‘The Burrito Van’ situated on the University of Birmingham campus serving fast, fresh, healthy burritos to students and staff. The business traded extremely well and Tim was approached by the Westfield group to formalise the concept with a view to launching into shopping centres across the UK. The business has since developed into ‘Burrito Kitchen’ which employees a team of 14 and trades out of it first permanent location at Westfield Merry Hill. Funding for two new sites has been secured and Burrito Kitchen is about to start their expansion plan.
