BHSEN workshops and training are highly practical, enabling you to apply learning directly to your social enterprise or social enterprise idea. You also have the option to book a 1-2-1 session with the workshop facilitator one month after the event to support you to implement what you have learnt. This event is the first in a series of workshops to support our city’s social entrepreneurs to startup.
Startup – The Happy Startup Canvas
Delivered in partnership with The Happy Startup School, this workshop will help you to clarify if your idea is a social enterprise and support you, as budding social entrepreneur, to go from idea to action fast, and learn techniques for validating your idea with customers without the need for big budgets.
This short introduction into The Happy Startup’s simple framework will help you on your journey to being more confident in what you’re doing (and why) and become much clearer on what to focus on right now. The framework was created as a development of tools like the Lean Canvas and business model canvas, which The Happy Startup School felt focused too heavily on the mechanics of starting a business. Their canvas helps you to tap into the growing trends that will ultimately affect how your business operates and start to bake happiness into your DNA.
Participants also have the option to book a 1-2-1 follow up session with the workshop leader one month after the workshop in The Platform's Meeting Room (additional cost £10 - 4 places available on a first come first served basis).
