Meet the trainer: Henry Blanchard

Henry is one of the UK’s leading early-stage business mentors and for the past four years has worked with Enterprise Nation to support new founders.

After learning the business basics as an accountant with Deloitte, he moved to Uganda in 2015 to set up the Uganda Marathon – the country’s largest fundraising event and now one of the world’s best charity adventures. The latest event saw 8,000 people from across the globe take part.

Outside of this, Henry has led two start-up accelerators in London, taught entrepreneurship and start-up skills at over 20 UK universities, trained 10,000 young people to start a business, and mentored over 1,000 founders through their first few months of trading. He’s currently the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for a nationwide scale-up programme with a major bank. Passionate about equity, he lives to share opportunities and demystify business for everyone.
