Event description

Description

Does ACL repair have a place in modern knee surgery? If so what is the evidence for surgery or is it just more hype? Where is ACL repair headed? This and more will be answered at the lecture presented by Mr Jonathan Bell followed by Q&A.

Mr Jonathan Bell FRCS (Orth)

A leader in his field, Jonathan Bell has a wide range of experience treating all levels of sports people, from the occasional jogger to the professional athlete.

He has a real passion for skiing and is heavily involved in the treatment of skiers of all levels, from beginner to Olympic standard. His recovery programmes have even involved him accompanying patients on their return to the slopes.

Graduating in 1987 from the University of London, Jonathan Bell trained at a number of teaching hospitals in the UK and abroad, including Middlesex, Barts, Great Ormond Street and St George’s.

Mr Bell has had specialist training both in the UK and Australia, and for over a decade has worked as a knee specialist at Wimbledon Clinics, with clinics held in Wimbledon and Kingston Upon Thames. He also regularly teaches in the UK and overseas.
