STATE OF FLUX THEATRE are a physical theatre company based in London and Leicester and co-founded by Sterre Maier and Laura Weston. With their backgrounds in voice and music (Sterre) and Laban and choreography (Laura) they set out to create interdisciplinary work fusing movement, text, sound and space. Being a multilingual company they have an interest in cross culture collaborations in non-conventional theatre spaces. Since 2017 they are part of the Breakthrough Artists at Curve in Leicester where they're currently developing new work.


LAURA WESTON is a movement director, choreographer and performer based in London and co-artistic director of State of Flux Theatre. Laura has worked with choreographers Sarah Michaelson (New York), Athina Vahla (Greece/UK), Thomas Hauert (Belgium) touring nationally and internationally. Her most recent work ‘(don’t) touch me’ has enjoyed two sold-out runs in both London and Guildford. She is also a Laban practitioner and teaches for Guildford School of Acting, Rose Bruford, London Studio Centre and Mountview. She has worked nationally and internationally as a movement director for Lindsay Kemp (2016), Guildford Shakespeare Company (2018), The Wrong Crowd Theatre Company (2013) and the Patalenitza Shakespeare Festival (2015-2017).


TOBY CAMPION is an award winning British poet and playwright, born and raised in the Midlands. He is also a UK National Poetry Slam Champion and a World Poetry Slam finalist. Recipient of the Silver Wyvern Award and First Place in the Poetry on the Lake Prizes 2017, awarded by Carol Ann Duffy, Toby has performed his poetry on stages across the UK, from Glastonbury Festival to London’s Royal Albert Hall, and in countries around the world, including America, Italy, Spain, Albania and South Korea. His debut play, WRECK, won the Fifth Word Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright 2015.
