LCILP is pleased to announce the date of its upcoming practical, and interactive training workshop for professionals in the humanitarian sector. This high-level workshop will address: The Status of Protected Persons under International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in Non-International Armed Conflicts (NIACs) in the Middle East, the Negotiation of Humanitarian Corridors, and the Delivery of Humanitarian Assistance by the Relevant International Organisations.

This three-day workshop will take place in London on 25 - 27 July 2017, and will be delivered by former ICRC Regional Director Dr. Patrick Zahnd. With over 30 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, Dr. Zahnd will outline the applicable legal framework and its operational challenges, while making a particular focus on the situation in Syria and Afghanistan.
