Stay and Play

These sessions are run by school staff in the Hub. The aim is to provide a fun-filled session where you can interact with your child and enjoy a range of activities. With new resources each week,  children will be encouraged to explore and make friends.

The activities provided will help support  the development of:

• Children’s fine motor skills
• Imagination
• language

There will also be opportunities to engage in an array of creative activities so please ensure your child comes suitably dressed as they may get messy!

The sessions will conclude with an interactive story and rhyme time session for everybody to join in with.  There will also be opportunities for informal discussions about the school Nursery and Reception classes and how they are run.

Please note that the maximum number of children is 2 per adult attending. This ensures there is quality interaction, which is at the heart of our Stay and Play.

Sessions run on Fridays. From November the new times will be

• 8.45am - 10am
• 10.30am - 12pm
• 1.45pm - 3pm
