'Stay Home' Dinner: A Specially Crafted Dinner shared with Craft-Makers

To accompany the Stay Home exhibition, Helen Osgerby of Simple Shape will host a specially created dinner at her home in South East London. Extraordinary chef, food stylist and event producer Olivia Bennett will create a three course meal working with the disciplines of the crafts pople whose work is being exhinbited, expect smokey wood flavours and clay-bakes. Dinner guests will be invited to view the Stay Home exhibition (on show in the Simple Shape Studio), enjoy a cocktail or two and take part in a making activity before sitting down to dinner with the deisgner-makers Sebastian Cox, Luke Hope, Elliott Denny and Florian Gadsby for delicious food dinner and creative conversation!
About the exhibition: Homeware company Simple Shape will present Stay Home, an exhibition of crafted pieces that recognises homegrown British craft talent and celebrates the simple joy of staying in. A dining table made by the award-winning British furniture designer Sebastian Cox will be the focal point, with handmade place settings by the ceramicist Florian Gadsby. Additional serving platers will be designed and made by wood worker Luke Hope. Ceramicist Elliott Denny will show hand-thrown ceramic water pitchers and additional pieces will accessorise the table and will be contributed by other craft makers.
