Event description

Description

Join us and reflect on the impact of Section 28, 30 years since it was first passed into law. The event includes a screening of We Have Rather Been Invaded by film maker Ed Webb-Ingall, that looks at the legacy of Section 28, the role of activism, and our understanding of this piece of legislation today. Following the screening, join a discussion on Section 28’s effect on the young people who grew up under it and the ongoing role of queer activism and solidarity in the face of oppression.

Suitable for adults and young people
