Fri 28 April 2017, 18:00 – 23:30 BST
Staying Put is an innovative voluntary sector organisation and registered charity established in 2001, covering Bradford Metropolitan District. Its main aim is to increase the safety of people predominantly women and children who experience domestic violence/abuse.
The charity has been running for 15 years now and in that time we have supported over 50,000 survivors of domestic abuse.
We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with Staying Put has supported its development and sustainability. Our more recent achievements launching an exhibition run and lead by survivors and being awarded the prestigious Investor in People Gold National Award and National Women’s Aid Quality Mark.
There are however many expenses connected with running the charity and we rely for funding on grant giving trusts, the public sector our own fundraising events and the support of local partners with this mind we have organiised a masquarade ball to raise funds. The money raised will be used directly for the service users and for service delivery.
