About this event

This course seeks to recognise the positive role that employment can play in supporting mental wellbeing whilst also appreciating that in the work place there can be sources of stress that if not recognised or addressed early enough can result in any individual suffering from mental ill health.

Awareness is raised of the sort of work place challenges that can increase personal stress whilst also enabling you to identify the early signs which will help you to support your wellbeing.

Importantly this course also aims for you to gain a better understanding of the main sources of support that may be available to help overcome unhealthy work place challenges.

Reference is also made to the IPS Employment Service that promotes the mental health recovery of NHFT Service Users by supporting appropriate work placements.

The course finishes with a focus on a more practical task showing individuals they can support their own positive mental heath at work and general wellbeing through a personalised wellbeing in work action plan.
