Early years Networking and Sharing event
with a 'Get creative outdoors!' twist
Time for adults working in early years to share ideas and get to know each other

4.00-7.00pm, Faculty of Dance, Laban Building, Creekside, SE8 3DZ
Join us to:
- sample creative outdoor activities across the arts including:
-
- A musical treasure hunt from Tea Dance for Little People
- Creative activities with natural resources from the Outdoor Learning Coordinator, at Preschool Learning Alliance
- Dancing outdoors from Trinity Laban
- take part in facilitated networking
- participate in peer exchange
- tea, coffee & cake
Following on from our oversubscribed February event, this Rainbow Collective event will bring artists working with under 5’s and early year’s professionals/practitioners together to share ideas and build relationships.
It is a networking and sharing event with an outdoors twist- but the main focus will be sharing and networking, any practice or ideas welcome!
Who is this for?
Anyone who works in, or commissions, early years provision in Lewisham:
- Practitioners/ educators from schools, nurseries, playgroups, crèche, preschools, children’s centres, toddlers groups and more
- Childminders
- Non arts community settings/ VCS organisations
- Creative practitioners working, or wanting to work, in early years
- Libraries and health
The Rainbow Collective is driven by: arts practitioners, Libraries, Pre-School Learning Alliance, Children’s Society, Voluntary Action Lewisham, Horniman Museum and Gardens, Community Education Lewisham, Early Years Improvement Team, Lewisham Music Service and Hub, and is facilitated by LEAN.
We are charging a small fee of £3 to contribute to the evening and tea, coffee and cake.
We will be working outside, no matter what the weather! Please dress appropriately.
