We're thrilled to announce that our hugely popular SquashSkills online Summer Training Program is back for 2025 - and this year we're doubling up on elite professional expertise!
We have not one but two top 10 ranked PSA professionals joining us this summer for our 8-week program, meaning you gain access to twice the amount of world-class experience!
About the Program
In weeks 1 to 4, your pro guide will be Gina Kennedy. Gina is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist, with a highest world ranking of no.5. Bringing with her a reputation as one of the very best all-round athletes on the PSA tour, Gina has a huge wealth of knowledge and training expertise to share.
To guide you through weeks 5 to 8, Joel Makin will be taking the reins. Joel is well known in the world of squash for his incredible levels of fitness and conditioning, and the current world no.5 promises to bring some of his most challenging workouts to put you through your paces!
Tieing things together over the 8 weeks will be SquashSkills Fitness Director Gary Nisbet, an elite-level Strength & Conditioning coach with a wealth of experience working at the very highest levels of the sport.
The course will consist of workouts both on-court and off, along with periodic fitness testing, and advice on how to enhance recovery and live healthier to maximise your results. Weekly workouts will be uploaded every Monday, and you'll have the chance to chat to and train with our pros via regular Zoom calls. A private WhatsApp group will also run throughout the course, where you can share your progress with other group members and ask any questions you might have.
Whatever level of squash you play, getting into peak condition is crucial to maximising your performance.
What you do in the build up to the start of a new squash season provides the foundation for what lays ahead - In the Summer Training Program we'll provide you with all of the tools necessary for you to get fitter, faster, and stronger, so you can peak for the beginning of the new season, better able to last out those longer rallies, play at a higher tempo, and stave off the spectre of injury.
All of the training sessions will contain a variety of options and progressions, meaning you can adapt the workouts to suit whatever level of fitness that you're currently at.
Making best use of the off-season is something many players struggle with, but with the help of SquashSkills, you'll learn how you can optimise this summer training block to drive yourself to greater heights, and make the 25/26 season your best ever!

You can yes! The whole course will take place online using the SquashSkills Training app and WhatsApp.
The program consists of 2 main sessions and 1-2 bonus sessions per week. Each session is around 30-45 minutes long. You will receive new sessions every week and you can finish the sessions around your availability. There are no specific days for the sessions and the whole course is very flexible!
It is suitable for all levels from beginners to pros. The coaches will make sure you'll receive training suitable for your level and recommend any adjustments where needed.
It is suitable for all ages, including juniors. As the main communication channel with the coaches and the rest of the team is WhatsApp then it is either the junior or the parent, or both, can join the WhatsApp group to keep an eye on any notes, activities etc, depending on how the family decides.
