Want to do more in schools but don't know where to start?
STEM Ambassador Extension Training has been developed to support STEM Ambassadors who wish to play a more active role in inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
This 2-hour session will be interactive with an emphasis on developing and delivering your own engaging activities for schools.
STEM Ambassador Extension Training was developed for STEMNET by Graphic Science and this session in Bristol will be led by their trainers - experts in the field of training for public engagement.
During this training you will be helped to:
- increase your confidence in presenting in front of different audiences
- develop your own STEM Ambassador activities and adapt them appropriately
- share ideas and experiences with other STEM Ambassadors through informal mentoring
There will be biscuits. And fun.
The event will be held in At-Bristol STEM Learning (part of the At-Bristol Science Centre), Anchor Rd, Bristol. The nearest car park is Millenium Square (BS1 5LL), and the centre is approx. 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
To register, click on the green button and complete the short registration questionnaire.
We look forward to seeing you there!
