#STEMsocial will be held at the Leicester City Vineyard on Wednesday 9th November, it is aimed at empowering and enriching A-level and GCSE students, a tool to connect students to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) industry, inspire them and introduce them to a youth-centric world of innovation. The content of the educational conference is deliberately designed to bridge the gap between youth culture and education, that’ll not only enable students to participate in activities that will connect them to the #STEMSocial experience, but will also unveil keys to progress and success via our elite guest talkers.
Our Elite Guest Talkers include:
Dr Simon Singh MBE, a popular author, whose books include Fermat’s Last Theorem and The Simpsons and Their Mathematical Secrets.
Ruth Amos, an engineering entrepreneur, who started her career straight after her GCSEs.
More information on panellist will be released soon on the website!
Registration will be starting at 9.30am; the introduction will begin at 10.00am and will run until approximately 2.30pm. There will be a cash cafe for lunch/refreshments from 12.00pm.
