Only assistance dogs are permitted inside Elvaston Castle.

No. The castle will be closed to the general public on the day of the tours. These are private, ticket-holder-only tours, and access is limited to the ground floor as part of the guided experience.

You can either show your ticket on your phone or bring a printed copy. Either is fine.  Please note that phone signals can be patchy onsite.

Yes, there are toilets, including accessible facilities, on the estate. A café and the estate shop are also available nearby in the courtyard area.

Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early so that we can register you before the tour starts. Unfortunately, we may not be able to admit late arrivals once the tour has started.
