Aimed at students, trainees, and junior professionals, join us for the next session in the STEP Jersey Next Gen series, hosted by Bedell Cristin.Associates Claire Scott (International Private Client) and Catarina Basilio (Litigation) will discuss capacity in estate planning, with a specific focus on trusts. The session will cover:
- The test for incapacity in Jersey
- How capacity impacts trusts and common trust provisions dealing with incapacity
- What can happen when things go wrong: disputes, risks and litigation
The event will include a 30 - 40 minute presentation followed by 10 minutes for questions. A selection of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food will be provided.
