Event description

Description

Whether stand alone or part of a dissertation, a literature review provides the opportunity to explore what has previously been published on a topic so as to develop your understanding of the theoretical background of your study.

  • Are you unsure what a literature review is?
  • Are you unsure where to start searching for relevant literature?
  • Are you uncertain how to organise your literature review?

This workshop will help you to:

  • understand the nature and purpose of literature reviews
  • seek out, analyse and evaluate the literature in a critically constructive manner
  • organise an articulate, coherent literature review.

Part of the ‘Step Up and Be The Best’ week organised by the Forensic and Investigative Sciences Course Group, in collaboration with the Employability Service and Study Skills Plus.

Recommended to level 5-7 students

This session is for Anglia Ruskin Forensic and Investigative Science students ONLY!
