Step Up MCR is the new place-based giving scheme for Manchester, primarily focusing on the neighbourhoods of Ancoats & Beswick and Clayton & Openshaw.

We bring people together from within the community to maximise on our human potential, energy, skills, and resilience for the benefit of local people.

Our aim is to connect people in order to enable ideas to flourish and support giving to projects that benefit health and wellbeing in our neighbourhoods- whether of time, money, resources, or expertise.

We'll be discussing the benefits of place-based giving, showcasing some brilliant community projects in East Manchester, and letting you know how you can get involved.

The event will take place on #GivingTuesday2020, 1st December 12-1pm. The launch video is 40 minutes long with 20 minutes for a live Q&A at the end.
