Step Up Membership Offer & Community Calls 2025/26

This year Step Up Network is trialling a membership offer. Initially this was advertised as paid offer, however, we are now offering a free membership offer with two tiers and the option to donate to our organisation for the 2025/26 academic year. We have been able to do this due to being awarded the Leadership Grant from the Institute of Leadership.

Our Membership Offer

We are providing two tiers of membership: Associate and Member. Our membership is aimed at those who work in education (including schools, colleges, higher education institutions, academy trust, early years and childcare settings). The benefits and offer are detailed below:

Associate Member

• Sign Up to our Mailing List to stay up-to-date with all of our communications, events and updates.
• Access to our LinkedIn Group to connect with others within our community.
• This membership is aimed at those who wish to connect as and when with us, as well as those who are working outside of education settings but wish to engage with and support our network.

Member

• All of the benefits within the associate membership plus the below.
• Access to our Whatsapp Group to connect with and provide support to others within our community.
• Early access to our face-to-face events and a ballot to gain discount codes.
• Early access to our Nourished Leaders programme.
• Opportunity to contribute to towards the development of our network offer in particular the topics and content of our events, programmes and blogs.
• Access to our leadership resource bank.
• Half-termly community calls where you can connect your thinking, learning and experiences with others within our community.

Our Community Calls

Our community calls are the opportunity to connect with others within our community. They follow on from our Step Up Spotlights where you will be empowered by a partner organisation on a key topic to support our members. This year, our community calls are taking place:

• 4/7/26 at 11:00BST

Our Facilitator

There will be at least two Step Up volunteers helping to facilitate the call. They will ensure that the call aligns with our values and that everyone feels comfortable and safe to be vulnerable and authentic. As a result, these events are only open to those within our network and are not recorded or redistributed anywhere. We have a ‘contract’ that we all agree to as part of the call; the volunteer facilitating the call will share this with you at the beginning of the call.
