About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes
Step Up Network CIC, the award-winning network and social enterprise for educational leaders is pleased to bring another webinar to our community.
This year our virtual events are split into two types: Community Calls, which are more intimate events. Safe spaces, for members of our community to be authentic and vulnerable whilst enabling connections to be built; and Webinars, which are open events, live streamed and recorded. These events are based around a particular theme and hosted in conjunction with a few of our partner organisations.
This webinar is being ran by Step Up Education Social Enterprises and is being sponsored by the Institute of Leadership.
Impacting: Why are we running this event?
Headship - a role that excites so many, but also scares many to. It is a role often advertised on jobs websites and is a consistently vacant role, with shortages continuing to rise. At Step Up, we want to share with you the work that many fantastic organisations are doing to combat this, as well as share the journeys of leaders who work as headteachers or who lead headteachers to show how great this job is. We are pleased to be hosting this event in partnership with several other organisations:
Empowering: What are we exploring as part of the event? What will I get from this event?
- We will be showcasing many organisations who are doing fantastic work to support headteachers and executive leaders.
- You will hear from aspiring, new-to-role, experienced and former headteachers and executive leaders on the life of a headteacher.
