Actress Stephanie Cole OBE will be in conversation with a panel of final year students from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Stephanie trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School before making her debut at Bristol Old Vic at the age of 17, playing Madame Arcati in Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit, a role she reprised in 2004 at the Savoy Theatre, London. Her long and varied career comprises a formidable list of credits; theatre includes King Lear (Bristol Old Vic), A Passionate Woman (Comedy Theatre, Evening Standard Award nomination) and Driving Miss Daisy (Chichester Festival Theatre). Television includes the popular series Tenko, Open All Hours, Waiting for God (Best TV Comedy Actress, British Comedy Awards 1992), Talking Heads, Doc Martin and Coronation Street (Best Comedy Performance, British Soap Awards 2012). Stephanie is also very well known to radio listeners, her credits including Cabin Pressure and Ed Reardon’s Week.

Stephanie was awarded an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University of Bristol in 2002, and in 2005 she was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to Drama, Elderly People, and to Mental Health Charities.
