Through grounding meditation and gentle movement, you’ll begin by embodying a powerful warrior stance—drawing up imaginary energy from the earth below and the sky above to awaken your sense of presence and personal power.
From this rooted place, you’ll take a deep dive into the key aspects of confidence:

Through guided meditation and reflective exercises, you’ll explore which areas of confidence you naturally embody—and which ones may need nurturing and support.
In a heart-opening meditation, you’ll meet your inner child—the part of you that longs for kindness, encouragement, and unconditional love. You’ll practice speaking to them with compassion and validation, offering the support they’ve always deserved.
Then, through a gentle colour therapy meditation, you’ll be guided to revisit a time in your life when you felt truly confident and strong. You’ll relive the sensations, emotions, and affirming words from that moment—and use them to create your own Golden Affirmation Card.
Decorated with hues of gold and yellow, this card will serve as a vibrant anchor to your inner strength—something you can return to whenever you need a boost of courage, clarity, or self-belief.
As a beautiful reward for your inner work, you’ll be invited to receive a deeply restorative group Reiki healing session. This gentle energy practice is designed to activate your personal power, strengthen your inner resilience, and anchor the progress you’ve made throughout the retreat. Allow yourself to fully absorb the healing vibrations as you integrate your newfound confidence and clarity.
About your Instructor
Rachel is an experienced mental health professional and registered social worker, as well as a certified mindfulness coach and instructor, a Reiki master and colour therapist with qualifications in delivering creative arts as therapy.
Since 2018, Rachel has been leading creative mindfulness retreats for MindAlive, integrating meditation, colour therapy, arts and crafts, and even animal-assisted therapy. Rachel is dedicated to making her retreats enjoyable and accessible to everyone—whether you are an experienced meditator or completely new to mindfulness. Her retreats are thoughtfully designed to welcome people of all backgrounds, including those with neurodiversity or attention and focus challenges.
At a MindAlive retreat, there truly is something for everyone. Participants will benefit from Rachel’s expert guidance and over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, as well as the bonus of group Reiki healing to ensure the healing process goes further.
