Steve Hall is a veteran stand‑up comedian and award‑winning writer. A founding member of sketch troupe We Are Klang—nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Barry Award—he’s supported giants like Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Bill Burr, and Frank Skinner. He was the very first stand‑up guest on Russell Howard’s Good News and went on to write for six series of Good News and The Russell Howard Hour.

What time does it all kick off?

Doors open at 7.45pm, and the show starts around 8-ish (we’re on comedian time, give or take a chuckle). It usually wraps up around 10.30pm, with intervals to grab drinks and stretch your laughing muscles.

What’s the show format?

We showcase two top-billed acts – one to kick things off, and one to close the night with a bang. In between, there’s usually a wildcard middle spot featuring fresh faces to comedy – though now and then, we’ll switch things up with a longer set from a pro testing new material.

Where can I get a drink?

There’s a downstairs bar open before and after the show, and the upstairs bar swings into action during the intervals. Stay hydrated, folks—laughter is thirsty work.
