Steve Jones Lecture
Professor Steve Jones, former Head of the Genetics, Evolution and Environment Research Department at UCL is a guest speaker this February.
Professor Jones is one of Britain’s most recognisable scientists. Famed for his wry, sometimes dark, sense of humour, his wide ranging contributions to the public understanding of science saw him receive the Royal Society’s Michael Faraday Prize in 1996.
Often controversial (he has stated that creationism is "anti-science" and once described private schools as a "cancer on the education system") Professor Jones is an exciting and sought after speaker. Book your seat now to avoid disappointment.
