Following Steve's treatment & recovery, after being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2023, he booked a trip to Nashville & Memphis. During this tratment & recovery period, Steve wrote 10 original songs. Some of these songs were inspired by Country music and some by the Blues.

Steve Williams & the Deluxe Blues' new album is full of different styles of Americana music – all close to Steve’s heart.
