Professor Steven Pinker lecture 'From Neurons to Consciousness'
NCH London Lectures: The US Tour
New College of the Humanities invites you to NCH London Lectures: The US Tour.
An award-winning, university-level college based in the heart of London, NCH offers liberal arts-inspired degree programmes in the humanities and social sciences. NCH London undergraduates benefit from an Oxford and Cambridge-style teaching model defined by weekly one-to-one tutorials and small group teaching with academics who are leaders in their fields.
Building on the success of the inaugural series of NCH public lectures in London, the College is bringing its world-renowned Visiting Professors to New York City, Hartford and Boston to inspire high school juniors and seniors, and their teachers and parents.
These lectures are specially designed for academically-gifted high school juniors and seniors who are interested in studying the humanities or social sciences and want to find out more about going to university in London. They offer a rare opportunity to hear from some of the world’s most renowned, pioneering academics, all of whom teach undergraduates at NCH London.
Registration starts at 6.15pm and lectures run until approximately 9.30pm, including a reception where refreshments will be served.
This is a free event, however please note that booking is essential as seats are limited and our lectures are extremely popular. Parents and teachers are also welcome, and teachers may book up to five free tickets for their students. If you require more than five tickets, then please get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org
We offer a limited amount of tickets to the general public. Please note, this is on a first come, first served basis.
