Stevenage Glow Ride - Light up the Night

Cycling UK is organising a national night of action on for mass glow rides linked with the ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign.

Joining with other communities across the country, we’ll light up the night and call for safer streets and better cycling infrastructure, especially for women riding after dark.

We will meet at Event Island between Danestrete and Town Square - this is a few minutes walk from Stevenage railway station.

Our short 5-6 mile ride will include some of the best of Stevenage's historic cycleway network as well as highlighting some areas where women are less inclined to cycle particularly in the darker months.

The Cycling UK ‘My ride. Our right’ campaign is focussed on issues women have raised, but men are welcome to ride with us.
