STFC Primary science coordinators focus group
Tue 21 March 2017, 14:00 – 16:00 GMT
The Science and Technology Facilities Council, STFC, is at an exciting point. We have a new Public Engagement Strategy and want to find better and smarter ways that teachers can use our exciting science and technology to support their classroom teaching. We want to be sure that the teaching materials we are developing are the best they can be and will meet schools' and teachers' needs.
To do this we want to ask you, the teachers, what works best for you. What can and should we be doing to support your teaching? What new resources should we be developing that you will use and re-use in the classroom? And how else can we spread the word of what we are doing so that more teachers can use the free resources that we develop?
You are invited to participate in this friendly focus group, aimed at primary science co-ordinators. You don't need to have interacted with STFC before - in fact we're keen to hear from those who haven't!
Come with an open mind, a willingness to join in and find out more, and go home with some new ideas for resources, and a belly full of afternoon tea.
